Cassidy got word today that he has been accepted as a freshman student at Evergreen State College!
I am really really proud of him, not to mention terrified and excited!Way to go, Caz. Thanks for choosing a college in a beautiful place. It will be really fun to visit you there.I love you, son.

Woo hoo!!! Evergreen is not only an excellent school but, as you say, it’s a pretty cool place to learn outside of the walled halls of academe. This is GREAT news. Kudos to y’all.

Raenie, I know your must be proud of the boy. Your family is a model, and I am glad Cass is skipping the trad UNI route and going to a place that really values freedom of thought and true intellectualism over sports programs and a GREEk system. There are quite a few Evergreen transfers at my institution, and I am always interested in what they have to say. Go CASS!
