I ran a yard sale for some friends this weekend. We made $600 on Sat and $30 on Sunday. I guess the first day was worth the labor, but today sucked. I was tired from Saturday and nobody came to the sale. We closed up shop at noon, but it took another 45 minutes to put everything away. Then I came home and made our summer deck:
It’s really nice. I’ve been looking for a picnic table for 2 years. My friends had one sitting under a tarp in their back yard. they said I could buy it, so I did. It’s fucking sweet.
I’ll share. We’ll barbeque fake dead stuff.

looking at the tree lined background must be nice.. sometimes i forget how beautiful it is up there.
I’m gonna try to have a yard sale this weekend – there’s no way in hell I’ll make $600 though. What did you do about giving people change – did you have some spare $1’s around?
I went to the bank and got about $80 bucks in denominations of quarters, $1s, and $5s=1 roll of quarters ($10), 5×5s ($50), and 20×1s ($20).
